Inmate awaits bond

MIDLAND COUNTY A Midland man was still waiting Friday for his bond to be set after he was charged in the Thursday stabbing death of 26-year-old Adam Moon.
Christopher David Lyson, 29, remained Friday in the Midland County Detention Center. Bond had not yet been set.
Lyson was charged with murder in connection with Moon's death. Police reported Moon was stabbed in the 700 block of Bunche Avenue, then went by private car to Odessa Regional Hospital where he later died.Cpl. Sherrie Carruth said Friday that Moon's body was taken Thursday to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office in Fort Worth. Preliminary autopsy results hadn't been returned Friday.
