TYPE OF INCIDENT: Murder, Felony First Degree
DATE/TIME OCCURRED: May 29, 2008, at approximately 0145 hours
LOCATION: 700 block of Bunche, Odessa, Texas
SUMMARY/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
At approximately 1:15p.m., an arrest warrant was obtained by investigators of the Metro
Homicide Unit for the murder of Ryan Moon, which occurred earlier this date.
Odessa Municipal Court Judge Dennis Jones issued an arrest warrant for Christopher David
Lyson, a white male, 29 years of age, for the offense of Murder, a Felony of the First Degree.
Christopher Lyson will be booked into the Midland County Jail where he will be arraigned on
this charge.
This Unit would like to express their appreciation for the assistance provided by the Midland
Police Department during this investigation. Their assistance led to the rapid and successful
apprehension of this defendant. This investigation continues. . . .
